Opterrix - Our New Tool for Underwriting

Opterrix will be showing us how to use this software and weather data to enhance its Underwriting management.  Each attendee will have access to their company data (or be on a demo of IAMICs) for the hands-on training.  We will show how to be proactive when underwriting risk.  This comes at a very critical time when the department is considering the cancellation guides for new business.  We will help your company be a step ahead of the rest!

Panel Grab Bag

We are bringing the reinsurance companies together to share knowledge on some of the most emerging risks that we are facing from Air B & B coverages to home-based businesses.   We will discuss ATV liability as well as overspray and drift that can affect our partners.

Break the Breakdown -- the details of Equipment Breakdown

We will discuss the equipment breakdown details and misconceptions for both home and farm equipment.  Mutual Boiler Re expert will share his knowledge with us so we can understand what the policy offers.

Onsite Farm Implement Tour  (off site)

As an Underwriter, you may have been asked to add a certain piece of farm equipment for a specific dollar amount to the policy.  Do you really know the difference between planting equipment and harvesting equipment? There are so many different types of combines, harvesting headers, planters, cultivators, GPS Systems, and hay balers available today and we want to help you distinguish them. Have you found yourself using Google to look up items, well if you have, you will enjoin joining us for a walk around an implement yard as a member of the dealership explains the different types and what equipment additions to watch out for.
